In a country with a plethora of spa options on every corner, you’d think a great massage was an easy ask. It can be, but it can be dependent on the skills of individual therapists, thus making a high-quality, relaxing treatment rather a lottery. That is unless you find a great spa. At The Oasis Spa Laguna in Phuket, I just rock up. I reckon I’ve had a different therapist every time and all have been great.
The Oasis Spa is tucked out of sight, it’s not the most glam of entrances so it’s not until you enter the reception that you see the gorgeousness of the place. As we are staying virtually across the road, I’m getting to know it well! The Oasis Spa consistently offers us a quality experience, with well-trained therapists in gorgeous spa treatment villas.
Won’t you come for a wander with me and I’ll show you around? I’m sorry if you’re not here in Phuket, but hope you’ll enjoy this virtual tour and maybe you will feel a little more Zen just by admiring the photos!
The Oasis Spa ambiance
The entry gates lead into a tropical garden with a lotus pond surrounding the reception entrance. The staff who speak excellent English are always so welcoming. Every time from the moment I step inside I feel calmer. I love the rustic styling and neutral colours. It is charming and exquisite and equally so day or night, although I especially like my after-dark nighttime visits.
The Treatments
The spa specialises in packages from a quick fix to an all-day pampering aimed at foreign tourists staying in nearby hotels. I’ve never splashed out on more than a one-hour massage, but chatting to the happy people post-treatment drinking their cups of tea, they are impressed.
The Treatment Villas
There are eight treatment villas that add to the private sanctuary feeling. The ones I’ve been in have twin massage tables and a large bathroom with an ensuite shower and toilet. You might have to forgive a touch of humidity mold on the bathroom walls. But I kid you not (I’m fussy) it is easy to overlook as the whole area is so beautifully designed!
If you are booking a spa package you may be lucky enough to have one of the villas that look out over the lagoon. Not that you’ll notice as I’m pretty sure you will be face down looking at the pretty flowers or your eyes will be closed!
Oasis Promotions
There are several ways you might enjoy a promotional rate at The Oasis Spa, firstly check out their promotion page on their website. Or secondly, sign up for their LINE account. LINE is used like What’s App in Thailand and because it is more likely to be used by locals, you may find the best promotions here.
I initially found the spa via a Klook Invitation. Klook is an online booking platform and they also have Klook-only promotions if you book through them.
A beach massage Vs a Spa massage
Thailand has a huge spa industry and you will find options everywhere around the shopping areas, in the hotels, and at the beach. However, much as I love a bargain beach massage like the next, I’m a bit fussy. And no, a $15 sweaty oil massage on the beach with sand in my bits and bugs biting, does not do it for me, however gorgeous the sand is, or the water looks.
That’s why I like a high-quality spa massage treatment.
Free round-trip transportation
The Oasis Spa will collect you from your hotel in the local area, which includes Bangtao, Layan, Naithorn, Surin, and Laguna areas.

Final Thoughts
After a decidedly average and expensive massage at our hotel In the Laguna Phuket area, I decided to return to The Oasis Spa. I always come out from The Oasis Spa relaxed and thank them for making me a very Zen Wren.
